a promise for tomorrow

a cash gift

Every dollar you donate to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Great Scottsdale Foundation is tax-deductible and will rest as a permanent endowment in support of Club operations. The maximum deduction allowable for gifts of cash is limited to 50% of your adjusted gross income.  However any amount given in excess of this limitation can be carried over and deducted for up to five subsequent years. A gift of $1000 this year may actually cost you only $650 if you are in a 35% tax bracket.

Cash gifts are the most common and in some ways the most important gifts that the BGCGS Foundation receives because they can be invested immediately and put to work on behalf of the children. Making a cash gift is as easy as making out a check to the Foundation.

A cash contribution to the BGCGS Foundation can be made in the form of a memorial gift. Upon the death of, or to celebrate a special occasion or success of a family member or friend, a memorial gift can be made in the name of your friend or loved one. When memorial gifts are received by the foundation an acknowledgement of the gift is sent to the donor. In addition, a special letter to the family of the loved one for whom the gift was made is sent. All memorials are legacy gifts that remain in the BGCGS Foundation as a living memorial to a friend or family member.
